pac was landing the much cleaner punches so i find it funny when they say floyd outboxed manny when it was actually manny doing that but i guess that would blow their minds to admit that. the auto mindset seems to be technincal fight=floyd winning when it should be technical fight who is landing the better punches=pac not floyd. just like if it was a high pace fight=who is landing the better punches not high pace fight=pac auto winning. if you watch the fight back pac landed the cleaner punches by a wide wide margin in most of rounds, especially 3-10.

I don’t think he figured out Pacquiao easily. Pac didn’t fight his normal ferocious style. He let Floyd turn it into a technical fight and he got outboxed. I think that surprised Floyd a little bit because Floyd wasn’t as accurate as he usually is.
Pac is fast, floyd was 38. He landed partially landed shots because if you watch the slow motion you can see pac adjust as the punch is coming before it lands because he is quick himself.
Floyd fought Pac in 1st gear, it was pretty easy for him

I watched both live you little weirdo. Unless they were shown on tape delay in the UK which would be plausible in the early to mid 2000’s.

Forest hadn’t mentally recovered from the stoppage in the second fight. Same story with Hearn-Barkley 2. Fighters often become overly cautious in those sort of situations, I suppose it’s natural as you know the other guy is capable of hurting you.
