If fighters have cleaned up their division and then some , then maybe, Crawford hasn't. Three divisions up at top level is pretty ridiculous , just a money grab..Boots, Charlo or Tszyu, to start with

Crawford wants the Canelo payday. Who doesn’t from 147-175?

I would even try to hit Vegas for it.
It's not a far-fetched idea! Crawford is very strong! I could see him coming in at 165, and giving Canelo all kinds of problems! I would give Crawford a better chance of winning than Munguia!

Strange.....when Spence was negotiating with Canelo it was a challenge for greatness but when Crawford beat Spence it turned into a money grab. Seems a bit hypocritical....no?

Fair is keeping the guy who was #1 p4p at #1 after he knocked out a consensus top 5 p4p opponent in the most anticipated fight of the year.

Many don't think bud was deserving of being no1 pfp before the spence fight, and even more didn't believe spence was top 5 pfp.
And now Spence lost to bud, I doubt people think spence is even top 20 pfp. You can use hindsight too to come up with a more accurate assesment, it don't mean anyone's hating on bud

That is a lie. You didn’t have Bud at #1 for reasons other than boxing, as we all know, despite him being the consensus #1 p4p boxer on every list. Just as Spence was consensus top 5 p4p.

Of course people have Spence in the top 20. You have an agenda, you are dishonest, so you are blatantly lying that Spence losing to the #1 p4p boxer drops him that low.

No you can’t. Bud earned the top spot. Now if you have boxing reasons for elevating Inoue, cool post them.

Canelo does a lot of things extremely well but if you watch his feet it's almost always telegraphed and Bud will see it coming. Crawford's willingness to exchange may be his undoing but it's a phenomenal fight. I don't think I'm alone when I say I would be more than happy to pay for Canelo vs Crawford.

It's a fair point but, the issue is many anti-Crawford crowd were not making educated statements stating as a fact that Spence was in a different galaxy to Crawford and writing off Crawford often due to allegiance to PBC. They ridiculed every aspect of Crawford resume and belittled the challenges that were forced on Crawford from Spence's side of the fence (Haymon) in not making the fight.

Hindsight is ok if someone has left open the possibility that there could be another point of view and not simply ideologically destroyed the other person.

My personal opinion is Spence is and always was a very special talent who wasted himself through ego and excess / arrogance. Not an unfamiliar story in fighting sports. I still believe Crawford is a very special talent - I mean simple example is not just switch hitting but going Southpaw for the full fight and the adjustments he made throughout the fight show his incredible adaptability. We also saw how different Crawford fought against different styles - not minor adaptations but on-the-fly adjustments that show his IQ. Spence is still top 5 pfp, just the gap between Crawford and Spence is that great.

I also think that Crawford's wrestling background and strength was always under-estimated and Spence found out the hard way he wasn't able to man-handle Crawford and then his gameplan fell apart.
