I definitely think the Kinahans are out of play here. If I'm wrong & they are still involved somehow they are minor players now best case. Saudis got money the Kinahans dream of having. And the reports are they scattered to Iran &/or Russia since the sh^t hit the fan with the US government. But yea there could be different money laundering ppl involved here, but til I hear more concrete evidence I'm gonna assume this is a sports washing thing more than a money laundering thing.
Randomly there is a good podcast about the Kinahans that just came out recently. It's called Hot Money: The New Narcos. Worth a listen if you are into this subject.
Don't forget the Kinahans are also Heroin dealers and the ME is the biggest supplier of heroin in the world, Afghanistan in particular.
