Comments Thread For: Chris Billiam-Smith-Richard Riakporhe WBO Title Fight Rematch Set; Date, Location TBD

Chris Billam-Smith is set to run it back versus the only fighter to hang a defeat on his record. The reigning WBO cruiserweight titlist is signed and sealed for a rematch versus unbeaten contender Richard Riakporhe. What's the point of the announcement if there's no date/location yet?

Haha. It was a dreadful affair. Terrible officiating in that one. Riakporhe was gassed before the halfway mark and it degenerated into a Turkish wrestling match.

It really was bad. The rematch could play out much differently. If we're lucky anyway.

I think both have definitely improved, but the styles could potentially clash again.

Think they’re waiting to see if the Vitality Stadium is available. It’ll likely be at the end of May I think.
