I was kinda eager to see how Ryan would perform against an actual tested fighter in the 140 division with Ryan being at his best, what a disappointment.

first Ryan gets into talks with Teofimo, but it didn't happen because Team Ryan wanted to be the A side so badly.

Then he pursues Haney after his win over Prograis, but immediately switches his mind to fight Romero.

Romero out priced himself, so Ryan manager's gets him a fight with a more accomplished fighter that would get him more opportunities. Rejects it.

What the heck does he want to fight then? (Hopefully not a rematch with Davis or Rolly after what happened in negotiations.)

I agree with your part of your take. Ramirez is undoubtedly better than Rolly. But commercially, not so much. Ryan would probably double ppv buys fighting rolly than he would vs Ramirez. When I say rolly, Haney, and pitbull are bigger fights, I mean fan appeal not skill wise.

I think you are really overestimating the level of draw that rolly and pit bull are. There is zero evidence that they can draw when not matched up against tank. Ramirez has drawn 10k plus in Fresno. I highly, highly doubt rolly or pit bull could draw anywhere near that unless they are matched up against a star.

In fairness isn't going for the belt (vs Rolly) AND THEN having an in-house fight (vs JLR) for that belt the superior move? And if Ryan gets KTFO by Rolly you can make the same fight in 6mos for no belt still.

Outside of the drama & cringe of this relationship isn't Ryan's move the better move to make?

For a fight to be nearly done requires that Ryan’s scumbag manager has been negotiating the deal.. Ryan just gets his panties in a bunch per usual.. he needs to focus more effort towards training with his actual trainer and finding a better divorce attorney.

I don't trust these belt groups to do anything. Til they officially strip Rolly, or hell even after, Rolly seems like the bigger fight to me.

JLR has a worse rep than Ryan with opting out of interesting fights. Dude just turned down a belt fight with Teofimo ffs & has did the same with a few other cats ider at this point. I halfass wanna see JLR get fooked out of payday for being a guy turning down big fights without even being THAT big of a draw.

I don't see Ryan beating Rolly or Ramirez. I dont honestly know who wins Rolly vs Ramirez. I guess Ramirez should but I'm not sure.

Floyd makes no money if Ryan fights Haney or Ramirez.
