Does Froch training with Dawson change your opinion about DIRRELL VS FROCH?

I think it does for me personally, at first I thought Dirrell was going to outbox Froch and win a decision. Now I'm thinking Froch by middle rounds KO... Dawson betrayed a brother for a paycheck! SOB!

No, because from what I gathered Dawson put it on Froch. Sparring with Dawson isn't going to help much if he was never able to give him any trouble. Dirrell by wide as UD.

This will be the easiest fight of Dirrell's career.

It's more of a case I don't know much about Dirrel really.

Froch reminds me of a polish guy who has been the worlds strongest man. He is built as hell and strong, but admtited he hated getting hit and couldn't box great.

Froch can take a punch, but he can't really box. I saw him play spar with a presenter and although he didn't use full power, he didn't look fast and show me anything. He's no doubt an exciting fighter because he gets hit and hits back, but he is lacking in basic technique completely.

His power has worn people down and that with his chin is all he has.

At the end of the day the record reads:

          Froch UD Pascal
          Froch KO Taylor

So he's got to be doing something right. He is hardly cherrypicking....

Yes he is, but he could be much better. Pascal is decent but by no means great.

Taylor already got beat up by Kelly Pavlik so the formula was there.

If he can improve on his speed, but more importantly his footwork, he would be a very tough guy to outbox. At the moment he kina loves a tear up and most definitely struggles to move around.

It wasn’t the number of rounds he lost against Taylor that makes me doubt him; it was the way he lost them. He had no answer what so ever to speed and technique.
When he turned the fight around, Taylors boxing was B or C - level.
Sparring with Chad is the right way to go, but I doubt Froch can make up the ground fast enough especially this late in his carrier.

Froch is a tough SOB and he will give young Dirrell a run for his money. I see this pretty even, and I don't believe Froch could win the entire tourney.

Obviously it will prepare him a bit better for what's coming, but at the end of the day he is still the same fighter and a little bit of sparring for one fight isn't going to change him.

I have Froch winning by another late KO but i think Dirrell will win most of the rounds, and who knows he may even survive the final onslaught from Froch and win a UD.

any in and out boxer will beat Froch, but if they are willing to stand there and trade then Froch will come out on top.
