    Cotto was still old and fighting at 160 which he really had no business being at. I was at that fight and Saul got a SD. I'm not arguing GG2 but let's not blow up the Kov fight. He went life n death 6 weeks prior with Yarde, and nearly got kod. He even said himself why " Alvarez picked him"....& he couldn't turn down that offer even though he shouldn't have.

      the funny thing is canelo wanted no part of callum smith until the ryder fight where he looked like a-ss and should have lost. the reality was he was overrated with only a decent win over groves who was good but not great and was a 2nd tier guy in the previous era with guys like froch, badou jack, etc...when they moved up/retired groves/smith became a fight between top guys...but it really wasnt
