Custio.Clayton was a well conditioned, smooth, skilled boxer who represented Canada in the Olympics. He was undefeated in 20 pro fights when he faced Boots. His only blemish at the time was a draw with hard nosed, experienced Sergei Lipinets. A fight Clayton appeared to win by a comfortable margin but was called a draw. Nonetheless, Boots Ennis destroyed him in one round. Casual armchair fans quickly said Clayton was a nobody, and with a few taps on the keyboard just stripped him of all his credentials and years of discipline, sacrifice, hard work and boxing experience and hit him with the label of being a "nobody". This is what they do every single time a guy like Boots puts a man to sleep. They say the opponent was a nobody and a bum, and therefore by extension of that twisted logic, Boots must be a hype job or unproven, hasn't fought nobody. They don't realize these opponents, these so- called "nobodies and bums" could kill the average guy in a boxing ring. They're not bums at all. Its sad but most boxing fans have no idea what they're looking at and are completely twisted in their logic.when it comes to the sport of boxing
