Arum is right about this one. Crawford wasn’t a big draw and he was never going to be a draw fighting the abysmal opposition he was fighting under Top Rank.

Crawford needs other top draws to do decent numbers for him, but by himself, he can’t really do anything.

Sadly he isn’t right about anything. He lost a court-case to Bud, in money he owed. And was the reason Bud didn’t get a Pacquiao despite being under the same promotional company for years - Bob played his part, let’s not pretend.

Hard to say Bob's wrong on this one. I just think Crawford coming up was not drawing huge crowds unless it was in Omaha. His personality is rather stiff and believe me, I prefer his personality as someone you would want as a friend. Straight talk, no bs, speaks the truth. Though in boxing, in the media, he's comes off a tad dull. Like his energy level is low in the interviews and that translates back to the viewer.

I also agree with Bob that a sequel with Spence probably won't be as lucrative as the first. People that care about their money will be like, why would I pay for that when it was such a decisive victory? You'll get your diehard Errol fans that will, as they hope to see him pull a miracle out his ass. AND you might get boxing fans themselves to tune in just because there probably isn't anything bigger going on when it happens. Though the truth is, the casuals might be right on this one and why pay to see a repeat?

I’m a Crawford fan through and through but let’s be realistic , Bud can’t attract flies to chit
I don’t know why or even how this is possible

Buds in a nice position. TR groomed him into a world beater despite his low numbers.. and at PBC they specialize in marketability. Haymon you’re welcome

his gates were good. His normal ESPN viewership was good when he was on it. His PPV was the only thing that was trash, but when you’re fighting washed up fighters on ESPN+ PPV that’s to be expected.

I don’t recall that at all
And when Bud was with Arum , I’m pretty damn sure Espn+ was non existent
He was fighting on free cable so to say and the numbers were bad
