Seems the Sauds are only interested in the biggest baddest dudes squaring off at the mo.

It wont hurt for Odelay to lick Saudi windows drooling over big bucks for little work.

Maybe they'll take pity on the guy and feed him some scraps off the big table.

It’s all good Oscar. They don’t want to work with you. They literally just had a card where they worked with almost every top promoter - Hearn/Matchroom, Warren/Queensbury, Arum/Top Rank, Sauerland/Wasserman, Salita/Salita Promotions and more. They don’t want to work with you. Only interested in working with the best.

I'm not sure why everyone is scared of the Saudi money. The truth is, only the big fights are going to be hosted there like they have been in Las Vegas or MSG. The Saudis won't be paying big bucks for mid tier fights. If it means that people will start fighting the best to get a piece of the Saudi pie, then I'm all for it.

I just hope it works out that way...

You are correct in saying that boxing is going to be reduced to only club shows in the UK (thanks Eddie hearn). Boxing is just a niche sport in America now and if we lose the big fights to the Saudis then not is it over for boxing in America but boxing period. Boxing cannot not survive on "ShowBox" and "Tuesday night fights" level events. Boxing fans in America will just transition to UFC football and basketball. F-Dat! Oh and just a reminder ... Saudi Arabia is the country that state sponsored the ********* attacks in NY and DC on 9/11. Just remember that!

I’m glad you said that Saudi Arabia is the country that sponsored the 9/11 attacks where 3,000 innocent people died.
Let’s also remember that the US and the UK were the countries that invaded Iraq, a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. We have killed over a million people and rendered 7 million refugees scattered across the globe. We destroyed their infrastructure and created a power vacuum that gave rise to a bunch of ********* outfits.

Let’s also remember the US orchestrated the Iran-Iraq war that lasted 8 years and killed over a million people. We supplied Iraq with weapons and reconnaissance.

Let’s remember Henry Kissinger on behalf of Americans attacked Cambodia where 500,000 people died. Same guy attacked East Timor where 300,000 people died.

As long as we are pointing fingers at Saudi Arabia, the US and UK’s second closest ally, we should remind each other of what we have done in the name of “democracy”.

I would rather watch the main event of a Saudi card on a late Saturday afternoon here on the east coast than 1am Sunday morning when all the U.S. main events start. The Japan early morning weekday fights are annoying.
