———— YOU must have missed the facts I pointed out. Boots has called out Bud, multiple times. There are plenty of links in here somewhere. YOU check it out and come back and get into this conversation.
When Boots calls out Bud, you guys criticize him. When Teo calls Bud out, you guys think it’s a great fight.
A once beaten 140 pounder fighting Bud is better than an undefeated gifted natural Welterweight. Incredible stuff here
You missed it again, this thread is about the absurdity of Teofimo calling out Bud Crawford and nothing to do with Boots Ennis and that's ok, I'll still try to help you, but first things first.
1)There is no "you guys" , never was, nobody in here ever implied that Teofimo vs Crawford was a great fight, you made that up. 2) Nobody in here criticized Ennis for calling out Bud. Fact is that Ennis is doing what he should do . You made that up too.
Now, as incredible as this may sound to you, there is a thing called REALITY and in the real world Boots made $125,000 with less than 15,000 PPV buys in his last fight. No offense to Boots or your imaginary gang of guys but in the REAL WORLD, beating Roiman Villa was a good start, but he's got to do a lot more to earn his way to a mega fight with Terrance Crawford.
Hope this helps.

I appreciate the help. Now, let ME try to do the same.
“ … but he's got to do a lot more to earn his way to a mega fight with Terrance Crawford“
Just using your own words, how did Khan or Brook or Avanesyan or Kavaliauskas earn a shot at Bud? Did they do a lot more to earn a way to a mega fight with Terence Crawford?
Who exactly does Boots need to knock off to face Bud?
For context, Brook beat the great De Luca to earn a mega fight with Bud and Khan beat the great Samuel Vargas to earn a mega fight with Bud.

Another great question, but unless Jaron has a belt at Jr Middle a shot a Terrance Crawford isn't likely because he's going after history in a 3rd weight-class. There was a small window early on when Jaron could have forced his mandatory and his father chose not to, and it was the right call.

You forgot to mention that Brook also fought Golovkin and Khan fought Canelo, both at a much higher weight class than Crawford. Both Khan and Brook were one time champions and both had name recognition. Sometimes you can only fight the guys in your weight-class that are willing to fight.

Great question, Brook or Avanesyan or Kavaliauskas had the courage to fight Crawford because he had something they wanted, his belt. So those two “had the courage” to fight Bud because “he had something they wanted”? Rolly Romelo ALSO has the courage to fight Bud because Bud has something he wants. So Rolly should get a shot at Bud? Thats the logic you’re offering.

You are right about this one.

Those two were mismatches and so far removed that even Taylor Swift knew they would both get KO’d

I knew Khan and Brook were both getting knocked out but I also knew Spence was getting knocked out. Does that make me the all knowing OZ or just someone that just sees things for what they are?

Clearly you missed the key point as well as the sarcasm but let me clear that out.
Khan and Brook did not belong in the ring with Crawford. They were both past their primes, not in the top 5 WW rank and irrelevant for a legacy define fight.
It would be like Canelo fighting Bek Nurmaganet who is ranked 10th by WBO and WBO bodies. Would you justify such a fight?

You mean it would be like Canelo beating up a 147lb Amir khan. Amiright?

II would be EXACTLY like that. Canelo fighting Khan was a joke.
I get your intended sarcasm but I agree with you. I’m not sure why you thought saying that would be a “gotcha” moment for you.

Your sarcasm keeps hitting a wall.
Spence was an undefeated 3 belt holder and the fight was for a history making unification at 147. Budvwin the fight and I’m not complaining. It was great for boxing.
