Which do you view as more of a problem for NSB?

They go hand in hand. Someone, who may happen to like Calzaghe, makes a little comment like, "Hopkins is an overrated, cheating ass racist" in some thread that has nothing to do with Hopkins or Calzaghe.
The next step is to make "Joe C was scared to fight Hopkins in his prime thread".
Then they trade back and forth, leading to a poll thread, asking which country has the biggest overrated hypejobs, in which case, the only options are England and Some Country in Europe.Comment

Definitely the haters, IMO.
Everybody is a nuthugger to some extent ; we all have at least one boxer we really identify with, admire, love to watch, or whatever.
But it's when you let personal opinion cloud your judgment so badly that you can't even give him credit for a victory (typically after you said you would, beforehand), that the board really takes a slide.Comment

I definitely don't consider you a hater. You just don't bow down to Mayweather and buy all of his bull**** and I know you used to be a fan of his. I admit, I'm a Mayweather fan but even I don't buy into all his ****. I love how he fights and think he's great but he's pissed me off quite a bit in the last couple of years with his bull****, mainly not fighting Cotto before he lost to Margarito.Comment

Abs, you have to realize that when people make praising threads they get about 15-20 posts, 50 tops. When a poster makes a hate thread...yep you guessed:
100, 200, 300 posts.
There's one hate thread going on right now that is almost at 400 posts.
That's what NSB likes then that's what posters will post.
When posters get serious and actually have interest in talking about positive discussion, then maybe just maybe you'll see less hate threads.
Hate threads basically keep NSB alive.Comment

Being a Floyd (and Calzaghe) fan I guess the haters' nonsense gets to me more as it's usually aimed in the direction of my favourite fighters. Certain nuthuggers can be pretty damn annoying though, mainly when they refuse to refute perfectly reasonable criticism with any kind of sense or by attacking the poster or one of the poster's favourite boxers.Comment

I have tried countless times to make positive threads, not nutthuging anyone.
And it was only until my first hate thread that i actually started getting noticed in NSB(although it was in a negative way)...It worked thoughComment
