If that Aussie money is right why not? Anyone would, specially for a title fight. That fight can do massive numbers in Australia. I got Ortiz in a FOTY type ****er, with each fighter possibly touching the canvas at least one time.

        Beterbiev this Saturday.
If Beterbiev can match the 20-0, 20 ko’s of Vergil, he’d have done it against a world level opponent, not a can.. I’m not knocking Vergil, his record, and accomplishments so far the kid is special, but this last opponent was trash. Understandable however but doesn’t change that fact

Vergil vs Tszyu is a great fight, Do it now as far as I'm concerned. If vergil wins he becomes a star. If he loses oh well.
Tim would obliterate Ortiz. Huge step up. You just contradicted yourself, you say Zander and Ortiz would be a huge fight in a few years. If Tyszu got ahold of Ortiz right now, Ortiz gets beat and his career takes a step backwards.

That is the state of boxing these days. Don't put two young hyped unbeatens in the ring. Let them beat cans until they are mid to late 20s, let them say they are great, and then cash them out against whoever the champ is at the time. It is a fricking joke. Ortiz Zander is exciting, sells, and the winner shows that they are ready to step up and is the real deal. Instead we get two young guys majorly hyped who fight no one. Same as Ennis.

The sport is on life support.

And the wbo is way better than the wbc and wba at enforcing mandatories. Ibf probably better, but their rankings are whack sometimes.

Its kind of funny how the belts are better for some than others.others.and wba seems great for cash cows and the others seem like the belts guys nobody wants to fight/make no money end up with the others.

This isn't a hole proof theory lol it just seems to be the way it works out. Guys seem to drop the ibf before other belts due to the strick rules. Ibf and wbo will strip you before the other two.

Its actually a good match up but wont believe Oscar until an agreement is made, dont think team Tszyu is that much interested taking on Ortiz right now they seem focused on unifying 154 and or a real big money fight. Virgil is not that dude yet tbh.

Who else got rabamacallit making weight? Virgil is not well and that snake DLH is trying to sell it before Ortiz faints again.

I'm saying it more from the perspective of top rank wouldn't make it now. i bet golden boy/vergil would make it now.

Tszyu is a very good fighter. Vergil needs some rounds against a durable Veteran before he thinks of going to fight Tszyu in Australia. Danny Swift Garcia vs Vergil Ortiz would be a great fight at 154. Jose Benavidez would give Vergil rounds.

Subriel Matias is 20/20 plus one boxy on the resume, Rip Dadashev.
