Taylor would be better off going to 147 and picking up a vacant crawfish belt later in the year while Catterall should fight and fight to try to get a Haney/Teo/Garcia/Rolly fight.
Taylor is rethinking a move up to 147, because damn-near all the guys ranked up there will murder him.

Taylor is finished, this is his last option at a payday as it's very unlikely he'll move up to 47 now.

But his leverage is gone with the belts and it's increasingly apparent he's desperate... Catterall should tell him to do one and move on with his career.

Seems Bob Arum got nothing for Josh Taylor, not even any stay-busy fight. He should sign with Hearn, move up and fight Benn.

I think you're right. With all the injuries Taylor has had recently, and that that woeful showing against Lopez, he is clearly shot. Looked good against Jose Ramirez coming on for three years ago, but physically just hasn't been at the races since then. Will surely have to call it a day in the near future and is looking for a nest egg.

Yep and I think he bought into his own hype a little too much, I also think the Ramirez performance is overstated but that might just be me.

Not sure anyone is that interested in this. Maybe once upon a time when Taylor was an ungracious winner and everyone thought he got beat. It created a bit of heat.

Where would it headline anyway? Glasgow?

Is it big enough for the MEN in Manchester?

It is also likely going the full 12 rounds and probably minus knockdown and drama of the first fight.

I'm all for 50/50 fights but at this point that fight has long lost the casuals who would make it a big fight.

Taylor knows he got a gift and doesn’t want to run it back.

Catterall failed to capitalise on the reaction of fans after the fight and push hard for a rematch.

The moment has passed I feel..
