Vergil my boy but there’s zero excuse for him to be fighting a bum like Lawson at this stage in his career. Honestly, Vergil next fight needs to be Charles Conwell dude is rank #1 by the WBC @ 154 lbs. These are the fights Vergil needs for his development another young hungry bull like Conwell would bring out the best in him. Oscar gotta get with DiBella and make this fight happen next for the fans.

Solid fight, but if Tim Tszyu already is willing to make it happen like he just responded on Twitter, I wouldn't mind seeing Vergil take the opportunity.
Then again Ortiz Jr could still fight in March or April before they come to an agreement.

Vergil been damn near dying for 2yrs at 147. I'm fine with a bs-ish type fight for his 154 debut after all his health issues.
I hope they make Tim vs Vergil after another 154 fight, since the word is Tim fights Mar 1, in the summer. That fight is pure violence with foty potential.

Tim is down for anything I think its already proven. And Vergil, outside of his health sh^t, has seemed down for whatever whenever so if that fight doesn't happen this year, outside of one of them losing before than, I'd be surprised.Originally posted by Feroz View PostComment
