Navarrete isn't undefeated. He lost last time out against Conceicao and already has a loss from way back against Argueta.
Not only that, but Navarrete threatened to walk away from TopRank if Arum tried to make the fight. He said he was "Looking for opportunities" outside of the promotion. But when it became clear that Stevenson would move on, Navarrete forgot about those "Opportunities" and stayed put.
Try and make it now and you'll see something similar.Comment

Navarrete needs to rematch Conceicao and Stevenson needs to rematch Santos. Both Stevenson and Navarrete lost quite clearly on my card. Stevenson being the most embarrassing loss as he did absolutely nothing for 12 rounds but has people claim he won quite handily.
I would love to go over the fight with any of them so they could point out to me in crystal detail how he won those rounds without doing anything other than disengaging. Santos was the only one there to throw hands.Comment

The "Mexicans" we see in the public eye be that boxing, acting, whatever. They're mostly of European stock from Spain. You only need to put a native Mexican next to the pretty much white ones and see what side they're mostly from. There's a huge difference. That's why i laugh when Mexicans try to claim American's born and raised in the country as their own as it's your ethnicity what counts and not the country you're born and raised in. Well, if that's the case, they lose not only all the Mexican Americans, but pretty much all the Mexicans too.Comment

People like you called for that and said Loma was not only ducking, but would get slaughtered by Rigo. It was only after Loma had finished his business did the likes of you claim he was too small. Haha. Loma even said it meant nothing. But It was the likes of you who forced it to happen. Loma wanted it when they were at the lighter weights but Rigo ducked the fight for a cool 1 Mill.
Tank is different though. He's always going after smaller fighters or those he can sabotage to make them weaker to beat. he won't fight you otherwise. This when he has much better options on the table. But if his team try to make a fight, he'll only say "You're trying to get me beat" on Twitter and shut it down.Comment

Wait, if Stevenson asks for a fight, it's begging. But if it's a Mexican doing so, you're calling the guy they're calling out, a ducker? You're a hypocrite who's scared for Navarrete. Not very "Macho" is it. What does that say for Navarrete?
But it is funny watching you go through the motions of trying to shut this fight down so Navarrete isn't exposed for not going through with it. It's really pathetic.Comment

Everyone has a bad night. Some fighters have a bad night on purpose. Sometimes their goal is just to secure the victory. They'll worry about looking good another day. Stevenson fought a taller guy, that can box, and had power. He chose to fight conservatively. There's nothing wrong with that. Before Navarrete's last fight, he looked very good. Folks were calling for Stevenson VS Navarette. Both fighters are still good. I'm taking nothing away from either. I want to see their matchup. It's not a mismatch; they are both compatible in size.Comment
