Comments Thread For: Calvin Ford Arrested, Jailed In Maryland, Awaits Transfer To Nevada On Alleged Assault Charges

Calvin Ford was arrested and jailed in Maryland ahead of a pending transfer to Nevada where more serious charges await. Ford was arrested upon exiting his Upton Boxing Gym and was since committed to a Baltimore jail where he remains in custody without bail.

Well, innocent until proven guilty. This is a 58 year old man who is reformed, I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt.

This is surprising to me . Kenny Ellis is wrong , they don't put out an arrest warrant on someones say so. First the say so , then investigation , then it's taken to a lawyer at the DA's office who decides if an arrest is warranted.

Yeah….. fair. I guess his life story is a good story as it’s been told, so I want it to be true. I wish the best for him, lets see what happens.

Tanks new trainer sweepstakes are now in full effect. For the life of me, my brain fails to comprehend why these people in a privileged position in life do the ******est things to jeopardize their well being. Millions of people would love to be in Calvin’s position to be trainer of one of the top talents in the sport of boxing, yet it’s not enough for the man to value that enough to stay out of trouble. He a grown ass man too so, the “he young doe” excuse isn’t gonna fly. I’m sure he been through some things that would make him think twice about stuff like this, yet here he is… such a shame.
