The thing is "Physical prime" is different for everyone. Genetics and self care play a role. You have someone like Bud Crawford whom didn't hit his physical prime until he was about 30ish. Then u have a guy like Khan who peaked at somewhere around his mid to late 20s around when he fought Maidana and Peterson.

Once the body starts taking physical damage from boxing. It really just becomes a matter of who can stay at or near their prime the longest. Loma is another late bloomer, in his 30s he arguably beat both Teo and Haney, both guys he's a decade older then and would've been too small to fight when he was in his 20s.

Not a single soul had loma beating Teo, where you get that nonsense? He def should have got the win vs Haney though I won’t argue with you there.

What's dumb is always proclaiming his son to be #1 without actually fighting more than once or twice a year, if that. This constant yapping online is some new age bs that has to stop. . Be active and fight everyone b4 u say anything. That's the only true way to prove you're #1. These guys today are way too inactive to be yapping about how great they are.

Who is #1 in ur mind, Josh Taylor? I'd say there are many at 140 who can beat Taylor. Matias, Devin, Tank if he's at 140. Taylor ain't all that, man. B4 Teo can say he's #1, he has to fight several ppl in his division, but he won't do that. He's inacrive like most of the rest out there these days. Being ranked #1 after beating one champ is one thing, Claiming to be the best in the division without fighting the other top dogs and fellow champions of the division is another. Lopez can't rightfully declare himself the best @ 140, solely based on beating Josh Taylor. The guy talks more about who he won't fight than whom he actually fights.
