Ryan is a really daring fighter but Golden Boy needs to pull the reigns on him for his own sake. Any smart promoter would force Garcia to face Rolly first in order to win the title.

A smart promoter would also milk the title for a few fight but since Garcia is so set on fighting Haney (a safer fight then facing Lopez ) he could at least do it on a unification.

Rolly's a clown but he can punch, he'd KO Garcia.

The thing is, Haney more then likely cruises to a comfortable and pretty non-eventful points win vs Ryan, as opposed to Rolly which would knock Ryan out or beat on him for 12. Rolly and Haney do not share the same punching power. Rolly can crack, golden boy and Ryan know this, that’s why they rather go the safer loss route but keep his health.

The only fights that I’d care to see Haney in at 140 are vs Teo or Matias. Ryan doesn’t deserve this opportunity and the only reason he’s an option is because his demographic of fans are full of idiots. They support him because they’re either, tik tokers, connect to him through his golden boy or previous Reynoso camp affiliation, or because he tries to run with the wannabe Mexican act despite neither he nor his parents knowing how to speak Spanish.
