    Danish great Tom Bogs has passed away after a long illness at the age of 79. Bogs represented Denmark in the 1964 Olympics and then turned pro with promoter Mogens Palle and that was the beginning of a golden era for Danish boxing.

                Maybe the first real sports star in Denmark. He had the charisma, the women, the cars, the money and the looks. He is a member of the Danish hall of fame and deservedly so.

                A fine ambassador for our sport has left us.

                    Agreed & it's the likes of the alphabet IBF/WBO Euro baubles that's caused it. The once prestigous Commonwealth championship has also suffered a similar fate due to pan African, Asian, Pacific & Oceana ****les!!....
