Some of the best fighters in the world fight in those lower weights. Just because they don't get the hype other guys at heavier weights do, doesn't mean they aren't any good.

Good solid fight... back and forth at times... Tapales definitely came to fight.
No shame losing to Inoue. We fans are very fortunate to be watching a true
legend, in his prime. Enjoy it while we can, he will retire in just a few years.

You're responding to a guy whose sole purpose for logging on is to talk about Canelo - Benavidez. The fact he has a fictional boxer for an avatar should tell you something.

That's wasn't spence that night too. Just like it wasn't bolt. The runners who finished ahead of bolt shouldn't be seen as the best runners in world. Just like bud shouldnt. When after bud beat spence, the general consensus was if 43 year old pac fought that version of spence pac would be 3 time W W champ. Just like many couldve best deontay wilder that Parker beat.
Spence as of today isn't a top 5, or even top 10 pfp fighter, and wilder isn't a top 10 heavyweight too.
I'm not so high on Bud as many people are here.

Bud has been around for a long time and hasn't been all that busy imo. And I agree it matters that he was in his division for years before ever fighting Spence. Inoue fights champs and tackles big challenges.

So although it was a total beatdown over Spence, and although the lightest weights aren't my favorite to watch, I consider Inoue the better p4p by far.

Just think, unlike Spence, not a single poster here ever even suggested that Inoue was fighting easy touches, afraid of an opponent, or waiting for a huge purse before doing his job.

But we've seen or joined in those debates about Bud, right? Especially while waiting forever for him to face Spence.

Maybe the outcome was predictable but Tapales offered a good showing of himself. Inoue still looked a level better most of the time, but cautious, and I do think he felt Tapales at times.

Damn, I just thought he had been away from the boards doing other things. One of my favorite posters because he was 100% real. He had a mature outlook on life and been through many things. Rest in Heaven.

Wow! Yes! That was a very dominating performance by Inoue! Great win for Inoue and congratulations to him on becoming the Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champion! He's right in the top 2 for the Pound For Pound List!
