Just like if usain bolt runs 11 seconds in 100 metres, that wouldn't be the real usain bolt, who we know can run 9.58.. We'd assume bolt was injuredLast edited by hugh grant; 12-26-2023, 10:29 AM.Comment

Inoue is a beast, but he's also much bigger and powerful than his opposition. Tapales did a great job and there's definitely space for an overhand bomb when Inoue throws his jab and his straight right. We've seen it with Donaire, and now again with Tapales, with less power though. If the monster keeps going up in weight he might find someone that can take his onslaught and also unleash a more powerful response. That being said, if he keeps fighting only champions and many times per year then I think he earned the right to lose one or two fights. This guy is going for greatness, and I'm quite sure he will go for the champions at Featherweight. Wood, Figueroa, Foster and Espinoza. Neither wood or Foster have any chance, Figueroa and Espinoza maybe. We'll see.Comment

I want to give credit to Tapales once again. Tough as a mf and able to make adjustments in the ring. The Filipinos keep talking about cashimero this cashimero that but they had a better fighter to cheer for all along. I wonder what would have happened if he fought Fulton instead of Inoue. First Pinoy undisputed champion?Comment

Can you please explain a little more what adjustments Tapales made?Comment

Spence was literally dropped from almost every P4P list after that fight. Why?
Because his performance proved he was overrated by every US media. In reality Spence was seen to be on the similar level as Porter. A good fighter, but clearly not P4P top 5.Comment
