Dear Malik Scott, was he not suppose to come with a game plan? What was your own game plan for Parker and why couldn't you adapt fight night.

That's a dumb game plan Malik Scott had there. Parker is no Helenius or Ortiz

You got that backwards…IF Scott knew anything he’d know he doesn’t need to over teach Wilder bc Wilders capacity for actually applying what he’ll do is limited to a one/ two combination and wait and look approach for an opening,this guys teaching complicated stuff even a 3 punch combo is confusing to him once the bell rings that’s why he did well with Breland bc Breland knew he can act as a top trainer bc you can’t instruct Wilder with to much information bc he gets burnt mentally that’s not even a joke bc I see it .

Malik is a great trainer the problem is passing on great knowledge won’t work here it might look good in spots in training but a fight is much different with someone trying to hit you for real ,he goes blank .

So what was Malik Scott's game plan? Seems obvious he relied too much on that one asset of Wilder and never bothered to fix something like the constant jab to keep the opponent at a distance and maintain position. The what if's were not explored.

Malik Scott has made Wilder ineffective. Wilder can't box and has never been able to. He wins by fighting on pure instinct and heart. By trying to domesticate him, he lost his best attributes.

I think he wanted to fix some basics Wilder didn't have, which isn't that bad. For example, we saw how incapable he was in the clinch. But it seems Wilder must be trained to use reach, speed and endurance to land his power punches.

Malik is not a good trainer, that's it. He just fits Wilder's ******ity and delusions.

Yes we are ,if you think another trainer would be different you never trained guys bc I can tell you that you dont reinvent a fighter you take what they can do and apply subtle things that their capabilities and attributes are made for , Malik is the best guy for that job ring on his team for about 8 years .

And I can say this bc he’s not going to pick an intelligent trainer capable of doing what I just said bc that means he has to pick someone who’s not going to be a cheerleader which Malik is but it’s either Malik or he should just train himself bc it won’t make a difference. Lol

You must be a friend of the family. Wilder picked a coach with no real coaching experience. Of course it's hard to reinvent the wheel/ teach an old dog new tricks, but under Scott, Wilder wasn't even taught common sense. He's been Wilder's trainer for over two years and Wilder hasn't learned to keep his hands up, lead with the jab, and continue to power punch for the knockout.

And I believe every trainer should be a part of a decision to select an opponent. There is no way Wilder should have stepped in the ring with Parker - not with a major bout against Joshua on the line. He should've picked a bum like a Wallin.

On top of this, Wilder came in the ring looking like skin and bones. Which is a clear indicator that he doesn't have a team that knows how to prepare for an opponent.

It's clear that Wilder isn't a true fan of the sport; neither is Scott. Because all you have to do is watch a lot of boxing footage, to learn what you shouldn't do.

This was an epic failure by Wilder and his coach.
