Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua on Deontay Wilder: Me And Him Can Still Get It On; I Still Think It Does Amazing Numbers

Former heavyweight titlist Anthony Joshua did not rule out a fight with Deontay Wilder in the wake of Wilder's major upset loss to Joseph Parker.

Nah, Wilder needs to climb that ladder again. Wilder should fight Andy, is the only fight that makes sense IMO from a money perspective right now.

I'd like to see Wilder Ruiz. But Wilder is dumb if he does it. If he doesn't retire he needs to get as much as he can to fight AJ, that is his last shot at a big payday. Parker whipped his ass but he didn't KO him, Wilder can use the ring rust excuse, etc. There is still interest there, though now Wilder is going
to get stuck with 70/30 and he will take it if he is smart.

Ruiz beats him up and KO's him. Andy is more skilled than Parker and has fast hands with power. He saw what happened last night. He would end Wilder's career for sure. Wilder needs to take whatever he can to get AJ in the ring next if he wants one last big payday. AJ will crumple him but Deontay will go out making alot of money at least.

The funny thing is Wilder still knocks him into dirt

AJ is not illusive like Parker can fight. Wilder will land hard on AJ

It’s over. Wilder is completely washed. He’s 38. And anyone with morning wood over Joshua easily beating pitty pat Wallin is delusional. Wallin made his name off “performing well in a loss” but never ever beat anyone remotely in upper tier. Sorry Gassiev ain’t upper tier HW. Blame the people who stopped this fight when it mattered 5 years ago. You can finger point all you like but both promoters are con men and have partial blame.

Whatever AJ says about Wilder he's damned either way from deluded fans. Just imagine if he says the opposite. Don't know how they see fights on Youtube. This constant lashing without any objectivity is mind-boggling.

Nah the fight lost its appeal. Unless windmill can win by ko against porky ruiz then it'll gain attraction again

It's easy to get caught up in the emotions in results but we have to analyse the scene.

Wilder fought a tricky opponent and lost but if he wants to reignite the Joshua fight he needs go home rest and get 2 good wins in April and July and they need to be top 20opponents and try and reignite the fight in December but that will presume Joshua hasn't been beaten himself by then. Regarding Joshua I see Hearn trying to set up a fight for Joshua against Hrgovic if as predicted the IBF strip Ussyk or Fury when they have a rematch. In my humble opinion Hrgovic wins this one as his no Wallin who really was a punching bag yesterday.

It will probably be their swansong and final payday before retiring probably in Riyadh season.

With Joshuas so, sos chin I wouldn't fighter Wilder, Parker has a granite chin and can box, as I said he would beat Wilder and he did
