But Parker didnt rise to the occasion.

He stayed level headed, focussed and sunk to the level of his training. He didn't panic, he wasnt overawed and when there was incoming fire he trusted in the work he'd put in and the advice of his superior trainer.

Its what champions and warriors in battle do.

Wilder tried to rise to the occasion without putting the work in so when he couldnt rise he didn't have the training to fall back on or a trainer who could advise him otherwise. Having a brave heart and looking to be the hero will get you nowhere. Neither will cowardice.

Andy Lee comes out of this looking like some sly leprachaun wizard who knows things. Sly leprachaun wizard things. If anyone has a game plan to beat Fury it's him and if anyone wanted to implement that game plan for the win it'd be Parker.

I think Fury knows this, Parker knows this and Andy knows this. Not that we'll ever see it and im good with that. Friendship and family over money and status is always the winner.

I think it's a bit clearer now that Wilder is not the same after those bombs from Fury. It's actually pretty amazing that he is willing to get out there and try to. It's pretty obvious he has lots of brain trauma still. He could have gotten really hurt, and may have actually. He took some more bad shots. He needs to stop fighting and allow his brain injuries to heal. At his age that may well be it, I don't know. Concussion trauma takes a long time to overcome, if you can fully recover. There's no guarantee. I don't think it's a good idea o chase the money at this point.

Fury is a smart man. he has Parker as a sparring partner an a buddy so he won`t have to fight him. Keep your friends close, but enemies even closer. this version parker beats Fury.
