Jones Vs Calzaghe round 5

im watching the fight on hd and calzaghe only landed about three punches while jones was on the ropes then he moved to the corner and there he landed some solid punches, defienitly won that round

and what about the second round? dont tell me joe won that
but yea, i think that's about as much as you can give to roy on that fight

Calzaghe won the round in my eyes. He was coming forward constantly and was landing good shots, including left hands. Jones landed some good shots too, especially during the middle portion of the round but I still would have rather been Calzaghe that round....

Roy Jones fought scared, that's why he lost.. He should've kept coming at him..

That's the reason he lost so bad -- he kept coming at him. Joe loves that. After the knockdown, Jones forgot all about boxing smartly. Instead, he tried to knock Joe down again and KO him, figuring that, because he went down briefly in the first round, it would only be a matter of time until he put him on the canvas again. In other words, the knockdown was a great benefit to Calzaghe. Not only did it wake him up, it also gave Jones a false sense of security that he had the upper hand, when in reality, he couldn't be more wrong.

I would have certainly given Calzaghe round 5.

However, Roy Jones looked great in his last fight against Lacy. The guy who turned up that night may well beat Hopkins.
