Bivol schools him.. he fights to the level of his opponents, a bit like Fury. The better the opponent, the better version you get.

Beterbiev knows it. He ran from DAZN when Bivol joined around 2018/2019.

He's been hiding behind Bob Arum since, saying Bivol is boring etc. They only got interested when Saudi piped up about hosting a unification, now Arum is OK with cashing out Beterbiev and so is Beterbiev. All these Russians like Beterbiev and Kovalev were avoiding Bivol since 2017, they know how hard he is to beat and avoided him and let the Mexicans get schooled instead.

He has to get past Callum Smith first anyway, he should but it's far from a guarantee.

So old age is a valid reason for fighters losing. Especially 40 year olds.
OK, but half of guys here expect him to Ko Bivol. So I want some credit for Bivol when he wins.

You guys also expected Canelo and Ramirez to stop Bivol, lol.

          “You guys”

My prediction for Canelo-Bivol was that Bivol can win but I leaned towards Canelo by decision. In my prediction, I said “it’s a fight Canelo can lose.”

I straight up had Bivol beating Ramirez.

I also just posted yesterday that Bivol would school Benavidez, to someone who said the opposite.

So no, i’m not “you guys.”

They won't fight because it's a Russian thing. They want to keep it Russian dominant

I hear Beterbiev talking about Bivol supposedly talking more than I actually hear Bivol talking.

Bivol gets asked questions in interviews about what/who he wants next or in the future and he says he wants to win more belts. That's about the extent of his talking. Neither man is ducking the other. If anyone's to blame it's probably Arum and the WBC with their BS rules on banning Russian athletes.

At the end of the day it's just promoters being promoters and putting their own interests first. Both of these guys would fight anybody in their weight class and I expect the Saudi money will finally get this one over the line next year.

Bob Arum ( Beterbievs promoter) is on record saying he won’t make this fight. Wouldn’t Beterbiev be better served having a meeting with him before bytching about what Bivol says or does?

This is true, however beterbiev is an outlier. For example, A 40yr old adrien broner and a 40 yr old beterbiev are completely different. Beterbiev doesnt drink, doesnt smoke, doesnt party, hes a gym rat family man. He also hasnt really been in any wars and has low mileage even though hes older.

Much like BHOP, beterbiev is one of those rare high level 35+ exceptions.
