Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: I Said Three Fights This Year, Next Year I Might Go For Four

He may be fed up with the constant media demands he is required to satisfy but Anthony Joshua doesn't have long to wait before he steps into the ring with Otto Wallin on this weekend's 'Day of Reckoning' card in Saudi Arabia.

Anthony Joshua does not sound like Anthony Joshua anymore.

He indeed kept the promise for three fights and the other tops must do like him or at least two. The point is that Franklin is top 30 and Helenius is top 40. His only good opponent for 2023 is Otto and it is still not clear how good Otto is, but fine - seems to be a decent fighter. So AJ is becoming a bigger clown with every word he says: "I look at myself in the mirror and all I see is a fighter." - I bet that when he looks in the mirror he also sees himself as "not a 12-round fighter", but "a new breed of heavyweights" - dossers and sausages, yes.

Decided at long last now he's past his prime to become a boxer. I like the fact he's finally staying busy fighting cans like they did in the golden years between legacy fight's. Now though Aj has to step up and finally face at least 1 of the top 2 legacy fighter's he's alway's avoided.
Walling is a slow arm punching no power can.

Joshua just needs to get through the next one first.

Wallin is picked for Joshua because of the fact he stayed the distance with an badly injured Fury and that he's a light puncher compared to the rest .He's there for Joshua to destroy and anything less is unacceptable .Lets at least see some action from Joshua , who talks a good fight.

Dude. This is a challenge for Squidward Hearn. Is he going to be able to line up 4 more tomato cans?

The only reason AJ is still fighting is because he signed a 10 fight deal with Sky or BT RIGHT before Usyk snatched his heart out of his chest. 4 more fights and then he can go back to being a super model.

Good rebuilding job this year for AJ. Similar to Lewis after the McCall loss. Confidence building easy fights.

To quote Winston Wolf in Pulp Fiction - “let’s not start sucking each other’s ****s quite yet”. Let’s see how he looks vs Wallin. A fight he should win pretty easy if he’s still elite
