Comments Thread For: Joshua Not Concerned With Wallin's Style: I've Learned From Previous Competitions Against Southpaws

Anthony Joshua has had a target on his back this week. The stars have gathered for the 'Day of Reckoning' card in Saudi Arabia but there is little doubt that Joshua has been the center of attention.

I hope Joshua ends the year on a high and proves doubters like me wrong.Wallin is nothing special , just decent with very little power.Should be Taylor made for people who rate him.

      So what if Joshua loses?

There's nothing wrong with losing; it's literally a part of the sport.

Floyd has ****ed everyone's perspective, so now a guy has a bad night, takes a loss, and he's to be completely disregarded.

Would an AJ win stop you doubting though?

You've said Wallin is nothing special, very little power and Taylor made.

Lets be honest, nothing AJ does this weekend is gonna make you change your mind is it

Of course, he did, he stopped Usyk with a body shot in the 2nd fight. He should have had the belts before DDD. AJ throws combos, Fury doesn't. People are delusional if they think Wallin is going to engage AJ the same way. He'll be on the boxing bicycle like Parker.

              Don’t blame Floyd, blame NSB.

NSB is where you see people tell guys to never rematch, just retire after one loss.

Yet another time he gets to walk off for more than 10 SECONDS a legal shot. Guess that was a low blow too, right?.

If Joshua does what he's expected to do at 4/1 on , and within five rounds that would be good .If he struggles and lets Wallin into a rhythm and just sc****s by then I wouldn't be impressed and neither should you. Wallin isn't anything special and a match up with Sanchez or Makhmudov even DDD , a battle of the quitters would be more interesting and dangerous.

I tend to agree with AJ. He has some valuable learning experience with Usyk, even in defeat. Wallin maybe is world class but it's not elite.
