Derek Chisora: ‘AJ doesn’t want to fight Wilder, that fight won’t happen, he wants to fight Hrgovic’

Derek Chisora is close friends with AJ, speaks to him regularly and he confirmed that AJ doesn’t want to fight wilder, no fight has been agreed with him and that he will take the Hrgovic route instead.

All the reports that a ‘fight has been agreed’ are completely bogus. One guy doesn’t want the fight and it’s against the law to shackle him up and drag him into the ring

the saudis im sure would also pay well for that matchup

i think the AJ Wilder saga can be renamed from saga to farce at this stage

in reality hrgovic is probably better than wilder anyway at this stage. he just beat zhang last year who is a top guy, wilders only good win was 5 years ago over ortiz who isnt even as good as zhang. hype is hype though and it wont look good to fight hrgovic before wilder
