Hankey did it as well. He saw prograis look like shlt so that's when he decided to fight him next
Joshua just said what every fighter thinks

Tell yourself what you want, there’s leaders and followers. Inspiration and confidence aren’t even remotely close to being the same or even similar. As a man many things can inspire us but confidence, it’s as simple as either you have it in yourself no matter the situation or obstacles or you lack it. My point stands, follow the leader all you wanna. Also, many boxers box for many reasons and the best of them almost always do it out of necessity to make a living and feed their loved ones and themselves, nothing to lose type confidence as opposed to people like AJ that are privileged and get handouts throughout life for whatever the reason and people like that don’t seem to want it as much as the others… like a Pacquiao for example. You think they have the same confidence and heart and will to win? Hell no
You stated nobody or nothing should have influence over you. I didn't compare confidence and influence just pointed out how many boxers influenced in taking up the sport. Furthermore, if you are boxing out necessitiety then you're still being influenced by something so you're point is still illogical. Furthermore, many great boxers have stated the influence of others led them into boxing over other athletic endeavours.
The notion of being born with or without confidence is unequivocally false. Some maybe more confident than others due to different environmental structures but confidence is built through experience. To be a professional boxer it requires a high level of confidence which is developed through ring craft. Some fighters will inevitably be more confident than others but having less confidence than someone else isn't an indication of being soft or fragile. Manny life experience was far more difficult than AJ so I would agree he's probably more confident due to the obstacles he's overcome.
However, has AJ had everything handed to him? No only an idiot would think so because it takes year's of dedicated ring work to reach the elite level in boxing. Duran used to eat of bins but was his confidence unshakable? No. Leonard overcame horrible trauma but was he immune to gaining confidence off a rival's poor performance? No.
Do you think Manny never saw a fighter have a bad performance and become more confident in his ability to win? If Manny confidence is so unshakable why have a catch weight with Cotto?

Joshua admits that he grew in confidence on what he could do in a potential clash with WBC world champion Tyson Fury
man this guy is mentally fragile or what, is he forgettin he has to get passed Wallin , then avoid getting annihilated by Wilder and even then if Fury hasn't retired and Aj grow's a pair he might actually fight and still can't win
