Jorge Barrios: "Edwin Valero's Offer Never Came"

Jorge Barrios is dis*****g the story of WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero. A few days ago Valero, angry over Barrios bashing him in the press, claimed to have put an offer on the table for Barrios to fight him on December 12 in Venezuela. Barrios already has a fight scheduled against Michael Lozada on November 21 in Argentina with HBO Plus handling the broadcast. [details]

YESSSS! MAKE IT HAPPEN. if this is true i am so ready for this! Valero pretty much Has to take this offer cause itll get him noticed by the boxing world and he can finally prove that hes not this hyped up fighter everyone says he is... VALERO Win by KO3

I must say though Barrios is the man for callin him out like that and offering a 50% split on the purse... and technically theyd have the same amount of time to train for eachother cause theyre already training

Since the Lightweight Lightning presser in february Barrios has been selling this fikght very good with his trash talking.I think it will happen but next year prolly in Texas if Valero doesn't get his license or resolve his other visa problems, etc.

Will be fireworks with both men in the ring.

I hope they get it done soon. Valero is really in danger of falling off the map again.
Barrios has done a good job of building interest, now he is going to have to deal with a pissed off Edwin Valero come fight night.

I'd like this fight, but by the time it happens I don't think Barrios will have enuf left for it to matter.

I haven't really seen Valero, just a few seconds clip or two. Am I mistaken in thinking that he's rather slow, and swings very widely?? I'd appreciate spome information. Thanks.

I thinki Barrios said "fifty percent MORE" which may or may not result in a straight 50%.
