Ryan is younger than the guys Haney has been beating, and Ryan is a much better fighter at 140. This fight could even take place at 147.

It'd be a dangerous fight for Haney, because a loss would prevent him from fighting Tank, who Haney would fair better against.

Haney vs Garcia would be an interesting fight, nonetheless.

If ryan is serious then i guess he credits for pursuing a fight he has almost no chance to win. I disagree with the post that said that this is the easiest fight other than rolly among the champions. I think he would have a way better chance against matias or teo. i'd give him about a 30 percent chance of beating teo, probably less than 5 percent chance of beating devin.

I have a more cynical take. Garcia wants to make the big fights because he wants to rush the development process, and his star-power will give him the opportunity to skip the line. He can't even be bothered to make the 140lb limit when fighting a 135lber in Duarte. It's clear that Ryan has no longevity. He also showed in the Davis fight that he can't even be trusted when the pressure is high and the spotlight is brightest. This is the same guy that said he got "bored" in the biggest fight of his career.
