And when Wilder fought Stiverne the first time Wilder broke some bones and tore some ligaments in his right hand in the first round but was still able to beat the best version of Stiverne (Ring Magazine had him #2 and he was the reigning WBC champion, not a fat old man coming off a KO loss and a layoff).
