    Thread about David Tua

    What do you think of him coming back?
    He certainly still have the power to KO an opponent but do you think he is past his prime?
    I hope he gets his chance to fight the Klitschko brothers

      I think he should be able to hold his own against any heavyweight champion. But actually win a title, not too sure. Against Haye or Valuev probably, but not the Klits.

          I re-watched a video of Byrd-Tua last night - Tua was schooled.

          David Tua looks good against journeymen who are easy to hit, but a heavyweight with good boxing skills will defeat him.

                  i enjoy watching tua fight alot...and i wasnt too sure about him coming back..but after watching his latest fight i think with some time he will be able to win a title....his knockout power is still there and his movement so people better get ready...

                      I disagree about him being unskilled. In the Ibeabuchi fight he showed that he had skills. He just doesn't bother using them always.

                              He could handle any HW out there except Vitali IMO. Him and Wlad would be a war and I don't know who would win. These statements are based on a 235ish Tua who lets his hands go. Vitali would be able to weather any Tua storm and dominate the fight IMO.

                              This says more about the sad state of HWs than it does David Tua by the way.

                                  He won't have a chance against neither Klitschkos, I think Wlad is the most skilled of the 2.
