He’s next in line to fight, Terence “TBE” Crawford.

If he wants to be relevant in boxing, he must fight somebody, or go away, not just demand some crazy Fury rematch.

If he don’t fight Fury and Fury defeats Usyk we could get more of the same opponents he usually fights . Fury does not like tough fights regularly that’s just a fact it’s why I have to laugh at his fanbase attacking others . Unless he’s forced to fight a top guy he won’t ,he knows Ngannou damaged his reputation so that’s must fight for him to take again just like Wilder had to chase him after the draw that everyone was acting like Fury was going to get murdered on here .

Fury has a limited shelf life like Wilder I don’t see these guys boxing after 2026 . We got to take the better fights , Ngannou is a good thing simply bc we cannot trust Fury to actually take serious fights and if he loses to Usyk chances are he’s going to really mentally break down and have another retirement episode c he in fact is the mentally weak one .

          From the article:
"'First of all it is based on the rules. The WBC rules for the ratings criteria has many parameters; record, activity, level of opposition and other matters including activity in amateur boxing, Olympic boxing or any other contact sport,' Sulaiman told Sky Sports."

So then there must be a documented, written policy outlining exactly what those parameters are, no? Otherwise, this guy is full of ****.

Also, contact sport - I love it. Maybe we can get some hockey brawlers to do special-rules boxing where they can pull a guy's jock strap over his eyes and pound him, all for a WBC belt!

I have not got a issue with him being ranked 'If Ngannou was blasted out, and completely dominated? Then I would have a issue, and I believe Ngannou being ranked would then be bringing the sport into disrepute'.

But that is not the situation, Ngannou pushed Fury in a very close fight 'Were many experts believed that he won the fight'.

There is no way Fury's hardcore fans can get away from the fight, Ngannou decked Tyson Fury and inflicted the most damage in the fight out of the two fighters 'Ngannou tactically and technically astonishingly, fought a better more disciplined fight than Tyson Fury'.

Ngannou fought a basic fight, but he never really made any mistakes 'Glaring mistakes that would been capitalized on by Fury. Fury also struggled to force any mistakes from Ngannou, which should be a big concern for his hardcore fans'.

Note: So overall, for me Ngannou has earned his ranking 'The question is? Will Ngannou act on the new position he is in within boxing, or will he just sit back and wait for Tyson Fury to fight him again? Which as many people have already mentioned, potentially this is not the best idea with other mega fights out there for him to make' etc.

What if Tommy Smith no-name member of the public landed a lucky punch and dropped a champion. Would he be ranked too? WBC is a joke. We already knew that when they adopted franchise champions. As if having 10 boxing world champions wasn't enough. They wanted to add a load more

Ngannou loses the first time he faces a half decent boxer who can punch.

He competitively boxed the lineal champion. He knocked the lineal champion. Definitely should be ranked. At least Ngannou got something; probably should have either won by split or majority decision or call it a draw... Ngannou shouldn't be 0-1...

It's just funny, because people usually get dropped out of the rankings (or at least fall to a lower ranking) after a loss.
