Jermain Taylor Admits: "I Was Not Prepared For Froch"

Former undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor admits that he wasn't fully prepared, physically, when he was stopped in the twelfth round of his fight with WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch back in April. Taylor knocked Froch down in the third round and was winning the fight until he ran out of gas and was stopped with less than a round to go in the contest. [details]

He looked good in the Froch fight, he could have used more movement and boxed in the latter rounds especially the 12th but he didnt so for me hs out of excuses at this point. Lack of preparation is his fault, hes a pro fighter all he has to do is train and if he doesnt feel like it then he needs to accept defeat as a result.

JT is like the Super MW judah.. got talent but lacks the mental toughness and stamina.. They crumble under pressure so to speak.

I think that he looked GREAT in his fight against Froch...except finish off Froch in the 3rd round.

Taylor lost because he gassed, doesn't know what to do when hurt, and is a horrible finisher.

But other than that, he boxed a excellent fight and exposed Froch as being the British version of Miranda (the human caveman).

You don't even know how to type, and probably don't even know how to speak english correctly. And unless you're blind as hell, Froch was hurt you genius. Taylor had both Froch and Pavlik tripping all across the whole ring because he had them both hurt. Everyone knows Taylor is not a good finisher.

That's a great analogy, but damn he held on against Hopkins. WTF happened. It's like the Hopkin's fights changed him.
