The friends I talk to are very excited about this, but they are boxing fans. Since I am deep into this I don't know what the non-hardcore boxing fans and the general public know about this fight. Are they even aware of it? I asked a couple people and none of them had heard of either fighter. These are the people who watched Tyson and Lewis and Hoylfield but not much else. I think a lot of the casual boxing fans aren't keeping an eye out for fights becauise of the state of the heavyweights. What is the general thought of the public?

Like you guys, I'm more hyped about this fight than I've been for a few months...whats great about it is that its so evenly-matched; they each bring different strength to the table and both are pretty vulnerable in different aspects.

I'll take a close decision either way, for Morales I think myself..

i think because its between two countries... mexico and the philippines... both have a great fan base for boxing... and alot of us hardcore fans are telling people how this fight will be one of the great ones if it lived up to the hype...the general public wanna see this fight because they think its gon be an all out war against to great fighters...
