no place in the usa has strict gun laws. some have stricter gun laws relative to other places with extremely lax gun laws, but there is nowhere with actual strict gun laws. actual strict gun laws yield actual results.

i mean blue states on average are way safer of course when it comes to guns but nowhere near as safe as real functioning countries with educated populaces. for example the new york gun homicide rate was 5.4, compared with other industrial countries like japan, uk, germany, etc...who have less than .1 thats terrible. compared to texas who has 15 or florida with 14 thats great, but the media you ingest probably paints new york out to be a violent hell hole and paints florida and texas to be bastions of "freedom"

maybe you are you going to try the classic "the crime in the red states is because of the blue cities in the red states" thing? well if thats the case why arent the even bluer cities in the blue states even worse? more ********=more crime right? oh wait thats not true. you just like feeling safe by lying to yourself.

usa isnt that great of a place so who cares? usa just has the best marketing/propaganda. was it great once? maybe but that was debatable and for very short periods of time. for example the "american dream" thing where anyone can come to the usa and make it! thats just pure propaganda and marketing. usa is 27th in social mobility. hey not bad since there are about 200 countries but near the bottom of the industrialized countries list. im sure after world war 2 the usa was a destination hot spot but the rest of the world rebuilt while usa got dumber and bloated off of its own ego. people now come just because of the reputation, chasing something from the past. someone doing research would look at the data and see the mediocre social mobility numbers, the high murder rate, the ***********al government etc...and say nah ill go somewhere better. the main reason people from central/south america come is simply proximity and simply because of american foreign policy which has destroyed many of those countries/governments. thats a different topic i suppose...

Illinois has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Yet Chicago with its ******* mayors has one of the highest gun homicide rates in the country.

undocumented people dont qualify for most federal social services. in fact they often pay into a system that they dont have access to, through taxes: sales, payroll,, etc...

a ton of people who are here "illegally" simply overstay their visas. its been studied. revoke all visas? stop all immigration? not reasonable or healthy. the border crossings are just red meat to people who need to tangibly see something they dont like. they arent the type of people that like facts or that sort of thing. of course the more its emphasized the madder they get because emphasis is the tool of the propagandist. oh and if you have a video of someone crossing the border yee-ha thats a winner. cant really get a good video of someone overstaying their visa...

undocumented people commit crimes at a much lower rate than actual american citizens. its been studied. i wish all americans could comport themselves like undocumented people...a healthier safer society would be had.

being a ********** is not a low skill type of work. you must be going to the wrong **********s...

The do qualify for cleaning up America, taking care if the elderly, gardening work, farming work, house work, low level construction... those type of things.

I say give them a choice, Immediate deportation, or sight an indenture servitude contact.

Tax the contract. It will be a win, win. The contact incudes safe passenger, food, a designated place to live and protection under the law. They must prove be willing to work. Companies or individual USA citizens can have "X" about of people.

When the contact is up, they are out. But the can legally apply to be citizens. Or go in to the USA military.
