I like Pac but Zab in his prime was clearly faster. A few things I would like to point out:
First...these video's don't prove **** simply for the fact that pac was doing intense pad work and Zab is clearly doing a more relaxed pad work session where it appears he is working more on technique. Pac seemed like he was working on getting in fast combo etc
Second, for anyone saying pac is faster, you have to take in consideration the type of punches they throw. Pac throws straight left and right punches, while zab leads with hooks and uppercuts. Anyone with half a brain knows that 100% of the time a straight punch will be throw faster than a hook or uppercut. With that said comparing when manny throws a hook or anything other than a straight and you will see that zab is clearly a faster fighter.
Also Manny appears quicker in those videos because he throws alot of short punches where he doesn't extend his arms fully, while Zab comes from far away and still blows you away with his speed.
Last...the times when Manny surprizes people in the ring with his speed are when he gets close and throws quick compacted straight punches or when he throws punches from awkward angles that catch people off guard. Zab on the other hand, would be right in front of some one and often times at a good distance and still blow people away with uppercuts and looping punches. Zab is faster than Pac and anyone who looks at it from an unbiased perspective and takes everything into consideration will see that.
