Comments Thread For: Team Matias Denies Claim Of $4,000,000 Demand To Fight Haney: [We] Have Not Received Any Calls About Negotiations

Subriel Matias and his handlers immediately took exception to the bold claims by Team Haney. The reigning IBF junior welterweight titlist was a keen observer for Devin Haney's tour-de-force performance in a twelve-round shutout of Regis Prograis (29-2, 24KOs) to claim the WBC crown. Haney (31-0, 15KOs) won 120-107 on all three scorecards to become a two-division champ.

It will be Haney vs Ryan next.
      Both with DAZN.
Maybe Teo for either one of them if that doesn't happen.
Matias is everyones last option as he is high risk low reward.

This was Haney's opportunity to say, "Hey, we're not fighting Matias; we're moving up to 147".

        Be honorable about your duck.

Haney is a free agent. He can fight anywhere. His contract with Hearn has ended long time ago.

Damn! The Haneys don't have to lie to make Matias team look bad. Devin's pop didn't even get the right person name right involve with Matias and that's how you know he's lying.

No way Matias team will demand that high so you know there was no conversation at all. No need for this kind of bogus lie.

This is a big sign that they don't want the smoke with Subriel Matias. The Haneys should just enjoy their win against prograis and relax.

Ah yes, I can see the "muh Matias" narrative building from the anti-Haney edgelords, as I predicted yesterday.

Bruh, wtf are you on about? Bill Haney just told a blatant lie about arranging with people that dont represent the fighter he wants to fight. If anything the Haney's are the one's building a narrative to avoid Matias.
