Comments Thread For: Robeisy Ramirez On 6'1" Espinoza: Even Though He's Very Tall, He Fights Like A True Mexican

There isn't much that Robeisy Ramirez hasn't experienced through his incredible amateur career that resulted in two Olympic Gold medals and a pro journey that's already led to his first major title.

I like the way Ramirez talks. And, by the way, Andy Cruz seems to have his head on straight as well. Wish both these boys good luck tonight, fighting on opposing coasts.

He's actually being disparaging. What Ramirez is saying, Mexicans can't box. He expects Espinoza to come straight at him, hooking without jabbing, eating leather to land. Salvador Sanchez didn't do that, he boxed. Where is that influence?

Only an idiot thinks a Mexican is just a brawler yea you find lower level ones who just brawl just like you'll find lower level African Americans who can't fight just stick a jab and nothing else not much becomes of those style.

Then you have the higher level Mexicans who mix it up ala Finito lopez, JMM, Barrera, Canelo, Estrada etc. Just like you have the higher level AA who can box and fight when needed.

Again only ignorant noobs think blacks have no heart and can't fight in the inside and Mexicans can't box.

Guess he was for this fight and look how that played out for him.

I laugh when ppl say dumb **** like that...it's like really don't they see the results.. lol

Mexico produces champions almost on a monthly basis yet some of these cats never learn. Robeisy did say he's very aware of the dominance of mexican boxing but he didn't sound like it before the fight.
