When it's time to give credit, Ryan Garcia has no problem doing it. For several years now, the wildly popular super lightweight contender has wanted to get his hands on Devin Haney. He doesn't loathe him, but the two have developed a rivalry that goes back to their adolescence.

Don't know if Prograis can pull it off, but it would be good to see primadonna Haney Sr. humbled a little. Devin is good in all areas so it will be hard.

For once I totally agree with Cryan. Haney is gonna give Prograis a boxing clinic. Haney is too fast and sharp for Prograis.

But this writer obviously is following all the happenings in boxing otherwise he should have known that as pro Cryan didn't want the smoke vs Haney at 135. He won the WBC interim and therefore Haney's mandatory for the WBC belt but declined to face him.

For once, Private Ryan is right. Regis simply cannot match the skill level of a fighter like Devin Haney. He is just too scientific and fundamentally sound for the "Rougarou".

Yep! That was a complete and absolute duck on Cryan Ryan's part.

He was indeed interim champion but he was actually scheduled to defend it against Fortuna but withdrew due to mental health reasons and was subsequently stripped before he moved up in weight

I reckon he his mental issue had to do with the prospect of him stepping up in competition. It's still an issue for him. He fought scared in his last fight, constantly turning his back whenever he's attacked.
