I believe things are leading to Wilder vs. Fury 4 and he's going to come in light and fast like Wilder vs. Fury 1. Looking forward to it.

I have noticed this thing Wilder has been saying recently and it vexes Me. He is going about saying Fighters ran away from him which is a lie. He is implying here that Joseph Parker ran away from him which is BS.
Parker went to watch one of his fights I believe after he has has won the title or was it Dahupas I must have forgotten now. Wilder and his management again ignored JP when he had the chance to fight for a unified title. He refused to fight his Mandatory in Dillian Whyte and called him a peasant even though that fight was supposed to be a big match then. He refused to fight southpaw Charles Martin even though they were both in PBC. His management helped him avoided Klitschko coz they felt he wasn't ready. Instead they fed him easy fights until he was exposed.
He even found a way to dodge AJ.

Joseph Parker has never ran away from anyone. If there is one credit I will give JP then I will give him that. He is always ready to take on all comers that's why JP resume is impressive win or loss. Wilder is delusional. He was in PBC program where they do cherry picking for him and he missed out on quality fights and big money. He is projecting on people the reflection of himself. Wilder is the duck here. He cherry picked Tyson Fury and that turned out bad for him. He was the one who fumbled his own career and now at 38 years old it seems he has to start facing those tough fights he once dodged.

He should tell himself the truth that he really fumbled. Wilder had the chance to fight for unification title even before Tyson Fury. He had chance to fight again for unification title after Fury mess himself up and the belts were scattered in the wind yet he hoarded that WBC title hard and refused to fight tough fights yet it was AJ who had the cojones to rise up and fight those fights and became unified champion coz AJ took those risks in short time. If you look carefully Wilder is the one that is supposed to sit on the throne of heavyweight division but he didn't have the courage to take on tough fights. It was AJ and Tyson Fury who had the balls to go take those fights and achieve those glory. Wilder shouldn't cry victim here instead he should look himself at the mirror and tell himself the truth that he never had the courage earlier in his career to fight the tougher fights.
You make some points, but you're twisting the narrative.

Parker signed a co-promotional deal with Top Rank who also promoted Andy Ruiz at the time when both were up for the vacant WBO. Ruiz should've gotten the decision but lost against Parker in New Zealand. After that performance, Parker never rematched Ruiz, was matched carefully from there on, and sat on the title waiting for a big money fight. Wilder wasn't a draw back then and Hearn threw a bunch of money at Parker to essentially sell his title to Joshua, referee-gate in tow. Wilder wasn't running from Parker, who had his own plans, he was chasing Joshua.

Wilder had some cherries early on, but only because of his late start to boxing.

The whole Dillian Whyte duck is nonsense. Why would Wilder duck Whyte and continually push for a fight with the guy who knocked him out in Joshua? It wasn't about Whyte, it was about Hearn. Hearn, known for cover-ups, PED scandals, paying off refs and judges, one-sided rematch clauses, etc. Hearn would've done anything to screw Wilder out of his title for his all-British showdown in Joshua-Whyte II. Wilder was willing to fight Whyte under the condition a Joshua fight was included in the contract. That never happened so neither did Wilder-Whyte. Whyte's been exposed enough times by now to know how his fight with Wilder would end.

The Wilder's courage thing is also a non-starter. You can't question the courage of a guy who gets the worst beating of his life, and literally goes as far as court to enforce the trilogy.Last edited by boxing IQ; 12-07-2023, 08:53 AM.Comment

Wilder should really have a game plan for? The situation if his power does not immediately stop Parker in his tracks.

This has always been why, I have never rated Wilder's overall offense as super elite 'Wilder's power is elite with his best punch. But offense is more than just power, it is a multitude of attributes all working together which cause damage'.

Parker may not have the same level of Power as Wilder 'But overall, his offense skill for skill is most like better than Wilder's'.

Note: Wilder for sure is the favorite for this fight 'It will be interesting to see what tactics Parker and his coaching team use develop for this fight'. I personally think the tactics he used vs Joyce, would be good tactics 'That was a balance of solid boxing, and decisive attacks from Parker' etc.

That was Tyson Fury though, the best heavyweight in the world.

Parker is not far removed from a life changing beating courtesy of Joe Joyce. He will be more susceptible to getting concussed now. Especially against someone with the firepower of Wilder.Comment

Fury was and is Lineal and in all eyes he was and still is the #1 HW. And FYI I’m a boxing fan, not a boxer fan boi. I wouldn’t type that much for a single boxer and especially during an era where it has been its weakest for over 50 years. This HW era is garbage. Anything beyond the top 3-4 wouldn’t make the top 15 in any HW era. The Parkers, the Ruizs would be journeymen at best.
Was Fury number 1 when he fought Seferi and pianeta in 2018? Fury last fought in 2015 and took warm up fights to Guage himself and Wilder quickly offered him a fight thinking it will be easy for him and then he will say I beat a unified world champion at his peak but it backfired coz there were more active fighters like AJ, Whyte, Parker to fight then.

Fury only became number 1 on Wilder's head. They became entangled and that is why those 3 fights happened. It is not because Fury became number 1. After Wilder/Fury had a draw 2018 he could have focused on AJ 2019 but he saw that he knocked Fury down and Fury was not a power puncher so he figured he will have an easy match again coz Fury ain't a threat but Fury ended up beating him up and got tied in rematch afterwards which made the 3rd fight happened.

I assure if Fury had been active after the Klitschko fight and continue been victorious, Wilder might have ducked Fury as well.

Like I said Wilder and PBC were in the cherry picking department and take easy fights for Wilder so he will look good. Wilder won the WBC title from Stiverne in January 2015 so he could have unified with Klitschko if he was serious after all they both have same Manager in Shelly Finkel but he didn't want that smoke.

In 2016 and 2017 he had chance to unify against Parker, Martins but he wasn't willing coz then they were undefeated and he wasn't willing to risk his 0. Please don't tell Me anything about Wilder infact you Wilder fans are the worst coz you guys don't want to admit he is a cherry picker and that he fumbled the bag and glory.Comment

Ah the ol' Wilder catch 22.

All the way up until the fight it'll be "Wilder's such **** Parker can beat him" and then when Parker gets KTFO it'll be "Parker was past it".

You are correct. And both statements are true. Wilder is a **** boxer whose power bails him out. Parker is past it now, but he is far superior skill wise than Wilder.

 Both takes are valid.Comment
