On the one hand, it seems messed up that Hearn has pushed for a rematch clause. But on the other hand, it's good business sense for his fighter. If AJ somehow loses, he'll get another shot to redeem himself and stay relevant, rather than fall down several steps on the ladder. If the lineal champ can hold things up by fighting a former MMA fighter and barely win, then why can't the former unified champ ask for a rematch clause against a top ten fighter?

If he loses to Wallin in the first fight and manages to win the 2nd fight that will not be redemption but another loss which will add to his critics and his marketing.
