His reign at LW...while I agree with you that he didn't do much at the weight, you still have to acknowledge the stream as impressive.

Going up in weight 2 classes and beating Oscar.

Beating him again at 154(regardless of what anyone thinks of the decision, what matters is what the official decision was)

2 wins over Vargas. Obviously he was a shell, but they are still two decent wins, especially the first.

Absolutely dominating a game, top 10 WW in Collazo.

Going back up in weight and beating a game Mayorga, KO'ing him in dramatic fashion.

Destroying the reigning WW king in Margarito.

Plus taking risks and fights that he never really had to.

I agree that when breaking it down, he hasn't had THAT great of a career.

But if you think that's not enough to get into the HOF in boxing than you are really overestimating how hard it is to get in.

his losses were to no scrubs either. winky wright and vernon forrest.

his most embarassing loss is to cotto who ain't anything special but in mosley's defense he was on the downslide and he had just moved down to 147 from 154.

shane mosley is a better fighter than any of mayweather's so called great wins aside from maybe delahoya.

      if mosley is not a HOFer , neither are hatton , genaro , chavez , castillo , corrales , judah , baldomir.[/B]
which leaves delahoya as the only HOFer mayweather has ever fought.
      Those are HOF?

              hatton will get in.

              genaro eventually will.

castillo and corrales might get in just for how much everyone remember their 1st fight.

I said no, only on the principle that you can't induct someone who has taken steriods. What a bad example to set.

If it wasn't for that there would be no doubt. I'm a massive Mosley fan.

Gracias, this I already knew. I guess it isn't so hard to get into the HOF.

Im not sure if hes on roids now but even now im su****ious. His dad was saying that max gxl did wonders and was the fountain of youth supplement for his fight with marg. That made me think there may be something more to it although who knows because steroid testing in boxing sucks. That being said i dont put too much stock in that fight because shane did what he had to do but marg was mentally screwed going into that fight after being caught with the wraps. He wouldnt have won either way but i believe thats why it was so easy and ive always thought marg was overated. mayorga should have been even more tailor made for shane and he had a tough time.
