Whoa! I always just assumed refs on the take just generally let the promoters boy do whatever. You're talking bout bribing the ref for specific actions. That would make the ref more money. Imagine if Prograis also paid the ref for allowing low blows.

Regis just needs to fight and rough him up none of this finesse BS trying to be cute. He needs to go in there with the Captain Caveman mentality and hit him every where and rough him up. He fought a couple of retirement home guy (Linares & Gamboa) then fights a part time boxer in Jojo and got lucky with the weakess champ possibly ever in the history of boxing, in Kambosos(2x). Haney barely beat old undersized Loma at 135.

Prograis should be able to beat this guy at 140. Haney can`t break an egg.
