I’d rather be boring to some and be the best, ala Floyd. That Gatti-Ward style gets you nowhere.

I made no excuse for the fight.. Taylor looked equally worse in his next outing against Teo.

        Floyd wasn’t boring.

It’s an insult to compare him to guys like Hitchins or Shakira Stevenson.

Looked bad or made to look bad? There is a difference. Ole Josh looks quite ordinary against guys with actual skills and athleticism. I hear he's going up to 147. I fear for his health up there.

People really don't know what they're watching. Floyd never stunk it up like Shakur did against De Los Santos or Nakathila. He wouldn't have been cautious against a guy like Chon either. He wasn't a negative fighter like that.

I don’t think Floyd was boring. However there is no denying a mass of guys called him boring after every single fight and deemed him a runner. Don’t use Floyd to **** on Hitchins when Floyd even commended the way Hitchins fought against Zepeda and trains the guy. I think you’re mistaken.

Hitchins looked just like Floyd against Zepeda. Felt like I was watching Floyd-Guerrero. However I’m not complaining.. it’s just you guys. That seem to respect Floyd all of a sudden.. to **** on younger fighters that have a similar style.

Floyd stood in the pocket waaaaaay more than these dudes and against much higher level opposition. That's not to **** on anybody. That's just the reality.

And "you guys that seem to respect Floyd all of a sudden" is a crazy thing to say about someone who was selling millions of pay per views.

In Floyd’s own words he ‘robbed the bank’ most of the viewers were critics & haters and he benefited from that $$$. Floyd did stand in the pocket the majority of his fights even as Money. but as a Floyd fan I can also name you plenty of fights he got boo’d, even as pretty boy. A guy like Hitchins did what he had to do against a giant step up in competition against Zepeda last fight. Usually he stands in the pocket. Intelligent fighters know who to stand in the pocket with and who to utilise more movement against. Hence Floyd vs Maidana II, Floyd vs Castillo II, Floyd vs Baldomir
