I do not think Mungia will fight Canelo till the end of the year or next year. Canelo needs a bit more wear on him

Mungia is Canelo’s MANDATORY smart guy!!! It was re-affirmed recently at the WBO convention, Paco requested Mungia take a fight in the interim and the Ryder fight was then sealed with the WBO’s approval.. Mungia has held his mandatory slot until it was worthwhile cashing it in.. we smart over here!!

John Ryder was never that against anyone. And that term should never have been used to describe him.

The fact is, NSB simply wanted to discredit a Canelo title opponent instead of giving him his credit against a guy who’s tough no matter what; just not as skilled as Canelo. But there was no guarantee that Canelo would beat him. High probability, not guaranteed. That’s not a bum.

yes when i typed bum and posted it, i did think it was harsh to ryder, he definitely not a bum, good strong competitor more likely who gave canelo a good fight

top guys sometimes fight these fights that u know they will win but it just depends on how good they look, but maybe the stick that canelo gets is that he has options to fight harder guys but looks the other way?

u also have to remember that some people on here will call any uk opponent a bum so it would happen with pretty much any opponent

Im with yall bout Ryder being tough, but something is telling me Munguia is going to look great and take him out late rounds.
