Nothing about what Ryan Garcia had to offer seemed to take Oscar Duarte by surprise. The Mexican lightweight did his best to remain competitive in an eventual eighth-round knockout defeat to Garcia in their December 2 DAZN headliner from Toyota Center in Houston. Ryan just looked like typical Ryan in there apart from adding that weird shoulder roll he was trying to do which just looked like he was turning his back constantly.. but for all his flaws the guy does have power and sharpness and in the end that was the factor in there but durate was weary of getting caught with shot that eventually knocked him out because he would back ryan into a corner but then just not let his hands go and that's what done him in the end he backed Ryan up to the ropes and Ryan landed that punch on his chin that took his legs away. I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan vs Rollie next think that's a decent fight for both guys but do they just wanna fight Rollie for the belt because Rollie does have to face the ohara Davis Vs barroso winner otherwise they'll just be elevated to full champion and hell he stripped of the title

Ryan might not be the best boxer, but I rather watch his fights than fall asleep watching Shakur back step all night.

Ryan has flaws that limit how far he can go, but it's also what makes him quite interesting to watch. He has speed and power, which usually brings some excitment, and he doesn't have great defence. He's not great, but worth watching.
